China has implemented preliminary anti dumping measures on imports of dichlorosilane from Japan, a chemical essential for the production of semiconductors. According to Beijing's Commerce Ministry, companies importing the chemical are required to provide cash deposits of up to 99.2 percent starting Tuesday.
