A group of over 200 businesspeople, economists, jurists, and union leaders sent a letter on Sunday, September 13, expressing full support for measures taken by the president of the Supreme Federal Court (STF), Edson Fachin. Fachin has scheduled a plenary session for Tuesday, September 15, to judge the investigation into Justice Moraes. A separate investigation into Justice André Mendonça was scheduled for September 23. The investigation into Moraes involves a Federal Police report documenting suspicious messages from Vorcaro regarding the use of aircraft and contracts involving the law firm of Moraes' wife, Viviane Barci de Moraes.
