- A hatched block means the outlet is affiliated with, or controlled by, a state.
Political lean describes where an outlet sits within the politics of its own country. It is never a position on a single global scale.
Political lean is comparable inside one country and not across them, which is why the bar groups by country first. Publicly funded broadcasters are not marked as state-linked.
The owner of each outlet is listed as a matter of record, not as a judgement about the outlet.
Every outlet covering this story shares the same political lean; read with that in mind.
Actor Dave Bautista has been confirmed as the lead role of Kratos in Amazon Prime Video's live action adaptation of the PlayStation franchise God of War. Bautista replaces Ryan Hurst, who was forced to leave the role after suffering a bicep injury during a stunt in June. Hurst subsequently underwent surgery, and his recovery period would have delayed the production schedule.
Filming began in Vancouver in February, and several episodes had already been shot before the casting change. While one report indicates that scenes featuring Hurst will be reshot, another suggests that filming will restart from scratch later this year. Prime Video has ordered two seasons to be filmed back to back. The series is produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Sony Pictures Television in association with PlayStation Productions, with Ronald D Moore serving as the writer, executive producer, and showrunner.
The plot follows Kratos and his son Atreus as they travel to scatter the ashes of Kratos's wife, Faye. The story explores the relationship between a father struggling with his past and a son learning about his identity amidst gods and creatures from Norse mythology. Callum Vinson plays Atreus, and the supporting cast includes Mandy Patinkin as Odin, Ed Skrein as Baldur, Olafur Darri Olafsson as Thor, and Teresa Palmer as Sif.
Bautista, 57, is a former WWE professional wrestler who transitioned into acting. His notable credits include the role of Drax in the Marvel Cinematic Universe Guardians of the Galaxy films, as well as appearances in the Dune films, Spectre, Army of the Dead, and Glass Onion. No premiere date for the series has been announced.
