Between 23 and 28 people were taken to the hospital after eating boxed lunches at Takebishi Stadium Kyoto on Saturday afternoon. The individuals, who included event officials, staff, juveniles, and elderly people, experienced symptoms of vomiting and diarrhea. Two people were reported to be in serious condition but remained conscious.
