- A hatched block means the outlet is affiliated with, or controlled by, a state.
Political lean describes where an outlet sits within the politics of its own country. It is never a position on a single global scale.
Political lean is comparable inside one country and not across them, which is why the bar groups by country first. Publicly funded broadcasters are not marked as state-linked.

A Russian drone caused a flight delay for Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky as he prepared to depart from Chisinau, Moldova, on September 8. Norwegian Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Store stated that the president's plane almost collided with a drone during takeoff. However, a source from the Ukrainian presidential office told AFP that the claim of a near collision was exaggerated. Moldovan authorities confirmed that the country's airspace was temporarily closed due to a drone threat, which delayed several flights including the one carrying President Zelensky. The drone later exploded near the village of Stari Mihaileni in the Rîșcani District, approximately 160 kilometers from the airport. Moldovan police identified the wreckage as a variant of Russia's Geran drone. The incident occurred while President Zelensky was traveling to Oslo for the funeral of King Harald V. Moldova's ambassador to the United States, Vladislav Kulminski, told CNN that the drone's presence was likely not an accident. The Kremlin did not provide an immediate comment on the event.
