- A hatched block means the outlet is affiliated with, or controlled by, a state.
Political lean describes where an outlet sits within the politics of its own country. It is never a position on a single global scale.
Political lean is comparable inside one country and not across them, which is why the bar groups by country first. Publicly funded broadcasters are not marked as state-linked.
The owner of each outlet is listed as a matter of record, not as a judgement about the outlet.
Bosnian striker Edin Dzeko announced on Thursday that he will retire from international football. The 40 year old forward will make his final appearance for the national team on October 2 in a Nations League match against Sweden. Dzeko is Bosnia's most capped player and all time leading scorer with 73 goals in 151 appearances. He made his international debut in June 2007 against Turkiye. Throughout his career, Dzeko played for clubs including Manchester City, AS Roma, Inter Milan, and Schalke 04, where he recently renewed his contract for one season. He helped Bosnia qualify for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil and participated in the 2026 tournament in the USA, Mexico, and Canada. In a statement posted to social media, Dzeko expressed that wearing the national shirt was a childhood dream and that he felt the time had come to step aside.
