The European Union's cybersecurity agency, ENISA, has been granted access to the Mythos 5 AI model developed by Anthropic. A representative of the European Commission confirmed to Bloomberg that the agency is currently conducting tests on the system following constructive discussions with the company. Anthropic has declined to comment on the matter. While ENISA now has access to Mythos 5, it does not appear to have access to the latest version, Mythos 5.1, which Anthropic recently stated is available only to a limited number of American organizations. This development follows a trend of expanding AI access for government entities; ENISA previously received access to OpenAI's GPT-5.5-Cyber in May.
