- A hatched block means the outlet is affiliated with, or controlled by, a state.
Political lean describes where an outlet sits within the politics of its own country. It is never a position on a single global scale.
Political lean is comparable inside one country and not across them, which is why the bar groups by country first. Publicly funded broadcasters are not marked as state-linked.
The owner of each outlet is listed as a matter of record, not as a judgement about the outlet.
Marrit Steenbergen won the gold medal in the 100 meter freestyle at the European Swimming Championships in Paris with a time of 51.90 seconds, which also set a new championship record. Fellow Dutch swimmer Milou van Wijk took silver with a time of 52.71 seconds, narrowly beating Italy's Sara Curtis by one hundredth of a second. These marked the first Dutch medals of the competition. In the 800 meter freestyle, Germany's Isabel Gose won silver in 8:18.44 minutes, while her teammate Maya Werner took bronze in 8:22.55 minutes, a personal best for Werner. Gose has now won three medals at the championships, including two golds in open water events. In the mixed 4x100 meter medley relay, France took gold, followed by the Netherlands in second and Russia in third. The German team finished fifth in that event despite setting a new national record of 3:43.00 minutes. Other German results included a bronze medal for the 4x200 meter freestyle relay on Monday, while Lise Seidel and Melvin Imoudu both finished fourth in their respective finals.
