Expert Testimony on Mental Health Dominates Final Stages of Lindsay Clancy Trial

The trial of Lindsay Clancy, a Massachusetts mother who killed her three children in January 2023, is nearing its conclusion with closing arguments and jury deliberations expected this week. The central conflict of the trial involves opposing expert opinions regarding Clancy's mental state at the time of the killings. The defense argues that Clancy suffered from postpartum psychosis, bipolar disorder, and overmedication, claiming she heard voices compelling her to commit the acts.
