Fábio Luís Lula da Silva, the eldest son of Brazilian President Lula, lives in a high end residential complex in La Moraleja, a wealthy neighborhood in Madrid, Spain. The condominium features luxury amenities including a spa, a 30 meter zipline, multiple infinity pools, and extensive green spaces. Real estate listings for similar units in the complex show monthly rents of 5,500 euros, which is approximately 32,000 Brazilian reais, with some requiring an upfront payment of 22,000 euros.

Fábio Luís is currently under investigation in three Federal Police inquiries regarding alleged corruption and influence peddling linked to suspected diversions of INSS pensions. His defense has denied any illegalities, stating that he supports himself through his own work and lives in dignified conditions without luxury. President Lula has stated that his son will be investigated if he is found to be involved.

Records indicate that Fábio Luís moved to Spain in 2025 with his wife and two children. In January of this year, he opened a company called Synapta, which remains inactive and lists him as the sole employee. The company's registered activities are generic technology and IT consultancy. In March, shortly after reports of the residence surfaced, the company removed a local law firm as its legal representative and transferred its address to a coworking space. His lawyer declined to provide specific details about his current professional activities, citing privacy, but claimed that broken bank and tax secrecy records prove his income is sufficient for his lifestyle.
