- A hatched block means the outlet is affiliated with, or controlled by, a state.
Political lean describes where an outlet sits within the politics of its own country. It is never a position on a single global scale.
Political lean is comparable inside one country and not across them, which is why the bar groups by country first. Publicly funded broadcasters are not marked as state-linked.
The owner of each outlet is listed as a matter of record, not as a judgement about the outlet.

The FBI has added a 65 year old German national to its Most Wanted Fraudsters list as authorities search for him in Munich. The man was convicted of investment fraud in Los Angeles in April 2025 after defrauding investors in California between 2014 and 2017. According to the FBI, he convinced victims to invest in technology designed to help celebrities and social media influencers monetize brand endorsements. Instead of developing the product, he used the funds to finance a luxurious lifestyle, including the purchase of luxury cars, yacht upgrades, and the renovation of a villa in Malibu. Prosecutors estimate the total damages at approximately 26.8 million US dollars.
Following his conviction, the man fled to Mexico, where he was apprehended in September 2025 using forged identification documents. After being released from deportation custody under the condition that he report every two weeks, he fled to Munich on October 6, 2025. He was sentenced in absentia to 15 years in a federal prison, a 35,000 US dollar fine, and 26.8 million US dollars in restitution. The FBI is offering a reward of up to 150,000 US dollars for information leading to his arrest and conviction.
