Folha de S.Paulo has debuted on the Substack platform as of Friday, October 4. The newspaper will use the service to share reading recommendations and analyses regarding election coverage. Users can subscribe to a daily newsletter titled Eleições Hoje, which will be sent from Monday to Friday until the end of the second round. The bulletin is curated by Suzana Singer, the Politics editor at Folha, and Bruno Boghossian, the director of the Brasília branch.
This move to Substack coincides with the coverage of the 2026 elections. During this period, Folha plans to publish series of major reports, weekly Datafolha polls, and analyses from prominent columnists. Substack is a newsletter publication platform launched in the United States in 2017 that allows journalists and media outlets to distribute content directly to readers via email and an app. Folha currently maintains more than 20 different newsletters.
