Folha Launches C-Level Portal to Expand Business and Finance Coverage

Folha is launching C-Level, a new website dedicated to business and finance news curated for executives, financial market professionals, and public officials. The portal expands a project that began in June 2025 in Brasília, which previously consisted of a newsletter, a WhatsApp alert channel, virtual meetings, and a weekly videocast called C-Level Entrevista. The new site will organize the newspaper's production on business, finance, artificial intelligence, infrastructure, sustainable economy, agribusiness, and regulation.

A team of more than 30 journalists based in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, and Brasília will produce the content. It will be available to all subscribers across Folha's platforms, including the print newspaper, website, social media, newsletters, videos, and podcasts. The portal will feature 14 columnists covering various topics. Specialists in AI and technology include Anderson Soares, Martha Gabriel, and Ronaldo Lemos. The roster also includes experts in entrepreneurship, corporate law, taxation, economic policy, commodities, marketing, and critical thinking.

Carlos Ponce de Leon, the general director of Folha, stated that the economy section is one of the areas that drive the most subscriptions and that the newspaper has room to grow in business and finance. Editorial director Sérgio Dávila noted that the product aims to help readers identify important information amid high data volumes, particularly ahead of a presidential election. A launch event is scheduled for September 24 and will feature a conversation with economist and former Central Bank president Arminio Fraga regarding fiscal responsibility and stability.
