  • A hatched block means the outlet is affiliated with, or controlled by, a state.

Political lean describes where an outlet sits within the politics of its own country. It is never a position on a single global scale.

Political lean is comparable inside one country and not across them, which is why the bar groups by country first. Publicly funded broadcasters are not marked as state-linked.

The owner of each outlet is listed as a matter of record, not as a judgement about the outlet.

Emergency services have stabilized a forest fire in the Devesa de El Saler, Valencia, as of Friday afternoon. The blaze began around 1:00 p.m. on Thursday and burned more than 37 hectares of land with a perimeter exceeding five kilometers. Residents of the El Saler hamlet, two campsites, and an apartment tower were evacuated but have since been permitted to return to their homes. Some roads, including the CV-500 and CV-421, remain closed to the general public to facilitate ongoing extinction efforts.

Response efforts involved over 270 personnel, 40 terrestrial units, and 10 aerial assets, including support from the UME and the Ministry of Ecological Transition. The Generalitat Valenciana declared a level 2 situation under the Special Forest Fire Plan. Local officials noted that wind conditions caused two flare ups during the night, though these were quickly extinguished.

Investigations into the cause of the fire are ongoing. The Seprona unit of the Guardia Civil has ruled out natural causes, such as lightning, and the use of machinery. While a center right source reports a clear discard of natural causes pointing to a direct flame impact, a center left source provides more detail, noting that the fire may have been caused by a cigarette butt or a lighter and could have been intentional.
