Former Banco Master banker Daniel Vorcaro is spending approximately six hours a day meeting with a legal defense team consisting of 23 authorized lawyers. Vorcaro is currently held at the 19th Military Police Battalion of the Federal District, a facility known as Papudinha, in a cell previously occupied by former President Jair Bolsonaro.
Reports indicate that Vorcaro receives visits from his mother, Aline Vorcaro, and his children. His father, Henrique Vorcaro, and his brother in law, Fabiano Zettel, are also imprisoned. Additionally, influencer Martha Graeff ended her engagement to Vorcaro shortly after his initial arrest in November of last year.
About two months ago, Vorcaro's routine of legal meetings changed after STF Minister André Mendonça authorized a reduction in his sentence in exchange for internal work, including gardening and tending to a vegetable garden. While he is housed alone, he interacts with five Military Police colonels arrested for the January 8, 2023, attacks during sunbathing periods. Former BRB president Paulo Henrique Costa is also detained at the battalion, sharing a cell with former Justice Minister Anderson Torres and former PRF Director General Silvinei Vasques, though he has no contact with Vorcaro.
