- A hatched block means the outlet is affiliated with, or controlled by, a state.
Political lean describes where an outlet sits within the politics of its own country. It is never a position on a single global scale.
Political lean is comparable inside one country and not across them, which is why the bar groups by country first. Publicly funded broadcasters are not marked as state-linked.
The owner of each outlet is listed as a matter of record, not as a judgement about the outlet.

Former deputy Joaquín Lavín León has left the Capitán Yáber penitentiary to begin house arrest. The Santiago Court of Appeals decided to replace his preventive prison measure with total house arrest after he spent 90 days in the facility since May 8. Upon his release, he was met by his wife, former Maipú mayor Cathy Barriga, who is also under nocturnal house arrest.
The Metropolitan East Prosecutor's Office is investigating Lavín for crimes related to electoral regulations involving the SocialTazk platform, the falsification and malicious use of private mercantile instruments, and an alleged fraud against the Treasury estimated at 240 million pesos. These charges stem from the apparent irregular use of parliamentary allowances and concealment maneuvers. Meanwhile, Cathy Barriga is under investigation for fraud against the treasury and falsification of public instruments committed between 2016 and 2021 during her tenure as mayor of Maipú.
