- A hatched block means the outlet is affiliated with, or controlled by, a state.
Political lean describes where an outlet sits within the politics of its own country. It is never a position on a single global scale.
Political lean is comparable inside one country and not across them, which is why the bar groups by country first. Publicly funded broadcasters are not marked as state-linked.
The owner of each outlet is listed as a matter of record, not as a judgement about the outlet.

Former West Ham and QPR goalkeeper Ludek Miklosko has died at the age of 64 following a battle with cancer. The club announced his passing on Monday. Miklosko had previously stated in late 2024 that he was withdrawing from further cancer treatment three years after his initial diagnosis.
Miklosko joined West Ham from the Czech club Banik Ostrava in February 1990 for 300,000 pounds. He was the first footballer to move from Czechoslovakia to England. During his eight years with the Hammers, he made between 373 and 374 appearances and helped the club win promotion to the top flight in 1991. He later played for Queens Park Rangers until 2001 and served as a goalkeeping coach for West Ham until 2010. He also held roles as a board member and sporting director at Banik Ostrava.
Internationally, Miklosko earned 42 caps, 40 for Czechoslovakia and two for the Czech Republic. He is remembered by fans as a cult figure, particularly for a performance on the final day of the 1994, 1995 season where he helped deny Manchester United a third consecutive Premier League title.
In a statement shared by West Ham, his son Martin Miklosko said the family was heartbroken but took comfort in the support received. West Ham described him as a beloved, inspirational goalkeeper and a gentle giant of a man.
