- A hatched block means the outlet is affiliated with, or controlled by, a state.
Political lean describes where an outlet sits within the politics of its own country. It is never a position on a single global scale.
Political lean is comparable inside one country and not across them, which is why the bar groups by country first. Publicly funded broadcasters are not marked as state-linked.
The owner of each outlet is listed as a matter of record, not as a judgement about the outlet.

Formula 1 returned to Madrid on Sunday, September 13, for the Spanish Grand Prix at the new 5.4 kilometer Madring circuit, marking the first time the city has hosted the sport in 45 years. King Felipe VI attended the event accompanied by Princess Leonor and Infanta Sofía. The royal family met with drivers Fernando Alonso and Carlos Sainz at the FIA box and visited the McLaren box before the King presented the trophy to the race winner, Kimi Antonelli. The event drew a wide array of celebrities, including tennis star Rafael Nadal, who visited the Ferrari motorhome, as well as David Beckham and several football figures such as Florentino Pérez, Zinedine Zidane, and Diego Simeone. In the race, Argentine driver Franco Colapinto started in ninth position and finished seventh, overtaking Oscar Piastri and Liam Lawson during the first lap. Regional authorities, including the president of the Community of Madrid, Isabel Díaz Ayuso, and Mayor José Luis Martínez-Almeida, were also present to oversee the proceedings.
