Political lean describes where an outlet sits within the politics of its own country. It is never a position on a single global scale.
Political lean is comparable inside one country and not across them, which is why the bar groups by country first. Publicly funded broadcasters are not marked as state-linked.

Four suspects were arrested on Sunday in Duque de Caxias, located in the Baixada Fluminense, for their alleged roles in a gang specializing in the theft of luxury vehicles. According to the Civil Police, some of the stolen cars were armored. The vehicles were reportedly passed to members of the Comando Vermelho faction and taken to controlled communities, including the Complexo do Chapadão in the north zone of Rio.
Investigators believe the group committed at least 20 vehicle thefts. The arrests occurred at the intersection of Rua Orlando Teixeira and Avenida Brigadeiro Lima e Silva during a joint operation by the Military Police and the 59th DP of Duque de Caxias. Police utilized municipal monitoring systems to identify the gang members and the stolen vehicles.
Surveillance footage from one incident shows a man in a cap providing cover while an accomplice enters a parked pickup truck through the window. After starting the engine, the second suspect enters through the passenger door and the pair flees the scene.
During the operation, police seized four cell phones, two of which were reported stolen. They also recovered tools used in the thefts, including screwdrivers, a glass breaking device, three vehicle keys, and a cable used for connecting to vehicle modules.
The four suspects will face charges of criminal association and receiving stolen goods. Two of the individuals had prior police records for theft, with one also facing charges for illegal possession of a firearm. Their names were not released. The investigation continues to identify other members of the scheme and determine the specific role of each suspect.
