- A hatched block means the outlet is affiliated with, or controlled by, a state.
Political lean describes where an outlet sits within the politics of its own country. It is never a position on a single global scale.
Political lean is comparable inside one country and not across them, which is why the bar groups by country first. Publicly funded broadcasters are not marked as state-linked.
The owner of each outlet is listed as a matter of record, not as a judgement about the outlet.
A tour bus carrying German high school students crashed on the A28 highway near Wezep in the Netherlands on Monday morning. The vehicle, which had an Austrian license plate and was operated by a company from Vienna, collided with a delivery van around 4 a.m. and subsequently crashed through guardrails into the opposite lane. The bus was transporting 54 students and 4 teachers from a school in Germany who were traveling to Paris. Reports on the number of injuries vary across sources. One report states sixteen people were taken to the hospital, while others mention eight or eleven injured. Several victims, including the driver of the delivery van, were reported as seriously injured, although the school noted there were no indications of life threatening injuries. The A28 highway was closed in both directions between 't Harde and Wezep until after the evening rush hour. Students and teachers were initially sheltered in a hall in Wezep while parents were informed.
