Germany Arrests Teenager Accused of Leading Right Wing Extremist and Sadist Online Groups

Germany's Federal Prosecutor's Office has detained a 19 year old male, identified as Kai M. who is suspected of leading two criminal organizations. The suspect has been in custody since March 17, 2026. Prosecutors allege that the suspect founded one group and joined another, both of which are linked to right wing extremist ideology and the online sadist COM scene. These groups reportedly targeted young people, primarily girls, on social media and gaming platforms to coerce them into self harm, degrading acts, and suicide.

The list of allegations includes inciting a teenager in Russia to fatally stab a child at a school. The suspect is also accused of inciting teenagers in the United States and Sweden to set vehicles on fire and calling for the murder of a U.S. citizen. Additionally, he is suspected of coercing a child in another European country to perform sexual acts on themselves using a knife, resulting in severe injuries. The Federal Prosecutor's Office noted that video and image material of these crimes were shared in chat groups to promote the organizations and encourage future attacks.
