  • A hatched block means the outlet is affiliated with, or controlled by, a state.

Political lean describes where an outlet sits within the politics of its own country. It is never a position on a single global scale.

Political lean is comparable inside one country and not across them, which is why the bar groups by country first. Publicly funded broadcasters are not marked as state-linked.

The owner of each outlet is listed as a matter of record, not as a judgement about the outlet.

Severe flooding blocked multiple sections of the Marginal Tietê and other major roads in São Paulo on Saturday morning. The Companhia de Engenharia de Tráfego (CET) reported a total blockage of the Marginal Tietê in the direction of Rodovia Castello Branco at the Bandeiras, Casa Verde, and Freguesia do Ó bridges. Other affected areas included the Marginal Pinheiros near Rua Flórida and the Rodovia Régis Bittencourt in the Itapecerica da Serra region, where drivers used opposing lanes to bypass flooded sections. The Centro de Gerenciamento de Emergências Climáticas (CGE) recorded between 16 and 17 flooding occurrences across the capital, with significant impacts in the north and west zones. By 11 a.m. the city had accumulated 148.1 millimeters of rain for the month of September, which is 124.7 percent higher than the expected 66 millimeters for the entire month. The state of São Paulo remains under a Civil Defense alert for severe storms, including strong winds and hail, with a crisis cabinet installed to coordinate emergency responses. A cold front is expected to bring further rain and temperature drops over the weekend.
