- A hatched block means the outlet is affiliated with, or controlled by, a state.
Political lean describes where an outlet sits within the politics of its own country. It is never a position on a single global scale.
Political lean is comparable inside one country and not across them, which is why the bar groups by country first. Publicly funded broadcasters are not marked as state-linked.

India and China have held Corps Commander level talks at the Wacha border meeting point in Arunachal Pradesh. The meeting, scheduled for September 6, marks the first such high level discussion between the two nations in the eastern sector. Lt Gen Girish Kalia, the 3 Corps Commander, represented the Indian side at the talks. These discussions aim to address ongoing issues along the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in the region, where the two countries maintain different perceptions of the border. Previous Corps Commander meetings have been held at the Chusul Moldo point in the Ladakh sector following the 2020 Galwan clashes. The current talks follow a visit to China by National Security Advisor Ajit Doval, which resulted in announcements regarding measures to maintain peace and tranquillity along the LAC.
