Political lean describes where an outlet sits within the politics of its own country. It is never a position on a single global scale.

Political lean is comparable inside one country and not across them, which is why the bar groups by country first. Publicly funded broadcasters are not marked as state-linked.

The owner of each outlet is listed as a matter of record, not as a judgement about the outlet.

Intel has increased the size of its public stock offering to US$ 20 billion, up from an initial target of US$ 15 billion. The company priced the issuance at US$ 95 per share for approximately 211 million shares. After deducting commissions and estimated expenses, Intel expects to receive net proceeds of about US$ 19.7 billion. The offering is scheduled to close on Wednesday, July 12.

Intel intends to use the funds for general corporate purposes, including working capital and capital expenditures. Specifically, the company aims to expand its chip contract manufacturing division, which has previously faced significant losses and currently cannot meet demand. The company attributed the strong investor interest to unprecedented investments in artificial intelligence computing. Recent clients for the firm include Google and SpaceX, while negotiations are ongoing with Apple and Nvidia.

The operation is being coordinated by J.P. Morgan, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, and Citigroup. Intel shares closed down 4.1 percent at US$ 97.52 on Monday, following the initial announcement of the offering plans.

Reporting on the event differed in framing based on political lean. A center leaning source focused on the technical financial details and the general corporate purpose of the funds. A center right leaning source framed the event as a signal of market confidence in Intel's AI expansion and highlighted the success of the company's current restructuring course.
