Israel and Greece signed a defense deal worth approximately 3 billion euros, or 3.5 billion dollars, on Monday to establish a multi layered air defense system for Greece. The agreement, referred to as the Achilles Shield, is described by the Israeli Defense Ministry as the largest defense export deal in the history of Israel Greece relations and one of the largest in the history of the state of Israel.
