- A hatched block means the outlet is affiliated with, or controlled by, a state.
Political lean describes where an outlet sits within the politics of its own country. It is never a position on a single global scale.
Political lean is comparable inside one country and not across them, which is why the bar groups by country first. Publicly funded broadcasters are not marked as state-linked.
The owner of each outlet is listed as a matter of record, not as a judgement about the outlet.
Every outlet covering this story shares the same political lean; read with that in mind.
Israeli airstrikes killed at least five Palestinians in the Gaza Strip on Monday, according to health officials. Medics reported that two people died and several others were wounded when a strike hit a crowd near a municipal public park in Gaza City, an area densely populated by displaced families. A second strike later that day targeted a vehicle in the Tel Al-Hawa neighborhood in western Gaza City, killing at least three people.
The Israeli military stated that the attacks targeted Hamas militants, though they provided no further details. Both reports indicate that a United States backed ceasefire established in October 2025 halted major fighting but has not ended Israeli military strikes. Israel maintains these actions are necessary to prevent attacks from Hamas and other militants. Conversely, Hamas accuses Israel of violating the ceasefire and undermining a broader plan by U.S. President Donald Trump to end the conflict, which involves the disarmament of Hamas and the withdrawal of Israeli troops.
Local health officials report that more than 1,300 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza since the October ceasefire took effect. The Israeli military reports that four Israeli soldiers have been killed during the same period. Since the start of the conflict on October 7, 2023, Israeli tallies state that Hamas led fighters killed 1,200 people, while the Gaza health ministry says Israeli attacks have killed more than 73,000 Palestinians.
