Israeli forces captured a senior Hamas official during an operation in Gaza City on Tuesday, an action that triggered airstrikes resulting in the deaths of at least five Palestinians, including children. Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz confirmed the arrest of a high ranking militant, while an Israeli official told The Jerusalem Post the captive is Mu'in al-Arabid, the head of Hamas's General Security Apparatus.
