- A hatched block means the outlet is affiliated with, or controlled by, a state.
Political lean describes where an outlet sits within the politics of its own country. It is never a position on a single global scale.
Political lean is comparable inside one country and not across them, which is why the bar groups by country first. Publicly funded broadcasters are not marked as state-linked.
The owner of each outlet is listed as a matter of record, not as a judgement about the outlet.

Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani expressed strong opposition to taxes on windfall profits during his arrival at the Meeting di Rimini. Tajani stated that the concept of extra profit taxes reminds him of the Soviet Union and remarked that the word taxes gives him hives. While he argued that companies in the hydrocarbon sector should provide a contribution through agreed upon discussions, similar to previous arrangements with banks and insurance companies, he rejected the imposition of windfall taxes.
During the event, Tajani also addressed international relations. He emphasized the importance of defending the Christian presence in Lebanon and the Middle East as a guarantee for peace and dialogue. Regarding the United States, he denied any rift in the relationship, describing the transatlantic axis as fundamental to security. He highlighted the Pax Silica declaration as a key example of cooperation on artificial intelligence and semiconductor supply chains.
On the conflict in Ukraine, Tajani suggested that current conditions might open a space for negotiation due to Russian economic and political difficulties. However, he cautioned that Ukraine must not be forced to negotiate from a position of weakness. He reaffirmed Italy's support for the twenty first European sanctions package and the need to limit Russia's military capabilities.
