J Balvin Debuts at Rock in Rio and Announces 2027 Brazil Return

Colombian singer J Balvin announced his return to Brazil in 2027 during his debut performance at the Rock in Rio festival on Saturday. At the end of his set, a message appeared on the screen stating that he will perform at the Palmeiras stadium in Sao Paulo in 2027. During the show, Balvin shared the stage with Brazilian artists Pedro Sampaio and Melody. He and Sampaio performed the 2024 collaboration Perversa, and Melody joined the performance as a surprise guest. Balvin also performed hits such as Amarillo, Sola Conmigo, Ginza, La cancion, and Downtown, the latter being a partnership with Anitta. He additionally performed the song Bum bum tam tam by MC Fioti. The performance took place on the Palco Mundo, where Demi Lovato and Maroon 5 were also scheduled to perform.
