Jack Shepherd Jailed for Assaulting Partner

Jack Shepherd has been sentenced to 20 months in prison and four years on an extended licence for violently assaulting his girlfriend. The 38 or 39 year old pleaded guilty to two counts of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and damaging property at Isleworth Crown Court. The court heard that in February 2025, Shepherd pinned the woman down and punched her several times. In a second incident in June 2025, Shepherd attacked her with barbecue tongs on her left breast after she commented that he had burned a pizza. One source described this as hitting her, while another described it as stabbing her, resulting in a permanent scar. Shepherd also committed criminal damage by breaking car keys during a row. Judge Martin Edmunds rejected claims that Shepherd was ashamed or that his behavior was driven by alcohol abuse, stating that the defendant had a pattern of producing excuses to shift blame. The sentence will be served concurrently with his existing term, and he is due for release in January 2029. Shepherd was previously jailed in 2018 for manslaughter following the death of 24 year old Charlotte Brown, who died after a speedboat crash on their first date. He had fled to Georgia to avoid trial before being extradited. He also served a four year sentence for a 2018 attack on a barman in Devon.
