Joheirry Mola Dominguez of the Dominican Republic was crowned Miss World 2026 during the 73rd edition of the pageant held in Nha Trang, Vietnam, on September 5. This marks the second time a Dominican representative has won the title, following Mariasela Alvarez in 1982. Dominguez, a 24 year old with a degree in Business Management and Administration, succeeded Thailand's Opal Suchata Chuangsri. Spain's Elisabeth Reynés was named first runner up, and Malaysia's Taanusiya Chetty was named second runner up.
