- A hatched block means the outlet is affiliated with, or controlled by, a state.
Political lean describes where an outlet sits within the politics of its own country. It is never a position on a single global scale.
Political lean is comparable inside one country and not across them, which is why the bar groups by country first. Publicly funded broadcasters are not marked as state-linked.
The owner of each outlet is listed as a matter of record, not as a judgement about the outlet.

Kia Tigers player and former South Korean baseball MVP Kim Do-yeong underwent surgery late Wednesday night to repair a broken nose. The injury occurred during a game against the NC Dinos at Gwangju-Kia Champions Field when a ball ricocheted off his bat during a bunt attempt and struck his face. Kim was removed from the game for a pinch hitter after bleeding immediately from the impact.
The Tigers announced that Kim will be released from the hospital on Friday. While a team official stated the injury is not considered serious and Kim will remain on the active roster, the club is monitoring his recovery before setting a return date. The surgery ends Kim's streak of playing in all 122 games this season. The 22 year old is currently a strong contender for the MVP award, leading the league with 105 runs scored and a career high 40 home runs.
Kim's injury poses a significant challenge for the Kia Tigers as they seek a postseason berth. It also threatens his participation in the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games, where he was expected to be a central part of the lineup for a South Korean team seeking its fifth consecutive gold medal. National team members are scheduled to begin training in Seoul next Tuesday and depart for Nagoya on September 18, with the first game against Chinese Taipei scheduled for September 21.
