Political lean describes where an outlet sits within the politics of its own country. It is never a position on a single global scale.

Political lean is comparable inside one country and not across them, which is why the bar groups by country first. Publicly funded broadcasters are not marked as state-linked.

The owner of each outlet is listed as a matter of record, not as a judgement about the outlet.

King Harald of Norway is currently hospitalized at Rikshospitalet after his health status worsened on Sunday evening. According to statements from the royal house, the monarch is being treated with antibiotics for a bacterial infection in the blood. He was originally admitted the previous Monday for treatment of hemolytic anemia with cortisone, which caused fluid accumulation requiring hospital care.

Crown Prince Haakon is currently serving as regent while the King is on sick leave. The Crown Prince visited the hospital for approximately ninety minutes on Monday. Other family members, including Queen Sonja, Princess Märtha Louise, Princess Astrid, and several grandchildren, have also visited the King. Queen Sonja will proceed alone with scheduled visits to Rindal, Høylandet, and Snåsa municipalities next week.

While the royal house stated that the King is responding to treatment and his situation is stable, public reactions have been widely supportive. One center right source highlighted a wave of well wishes from the public, including messages of national pride and hopes for a speedy recovery.
