Political lean describes where an outlet sits within the politics of its own country. It is never a position on a single global scale.
Political lean is comparable inside one country and not across them, which is why the bar groups by country first. Publicly funded broadcasters are not marked as state-linked.
The owner of each outlet is listed as a matter of record, not as a judgement about the outlet.

Mexico has deployed 800 military personnel and drone inhibition equipment as part of a coordinated operation with the United States along the border between Tijuana and San Diego, California. Known as Operation Eagle High, the initiative focuses on a five kilometer strip centered at Mesa de Otay, extending 500 meters deep on each side of the border. The operation utilizes semi fixed and mobile anti drone equipment capable of inhibiting signals within a three kilometer radius.
Secretary of National Defense Ricardo Trevilla Trejo stated that the drones in this region are primarily used by migrant smugglers to detect patrols and facilitate irregular crossings. President Claudia Sheinbaum clarified that these are commercial drones and are not equipped with weapons. Trevilla distinguished this situation from that of Michoacán and Sinaloa, where criminal groups have used drones equipped with explosives and weapons.
While the operation has not yet produced results on the Mexican side, officials plan to meet with U.S. authorities next week to exchange information. Mexico currently maintains 10,000 National Guard members and between 3,000 and 3,300 regular military personnel across its entire northern border.
