Political lean describes where an outlet sits within the politics of its own country. It is never a position on a single global scale.

Political lean is comparable inside one country and not across them, which is why the bar groups by country first. Publicly funded broadcasters are not marked as state-linked.

The owner of each outlet is listed as a matter of record, not as a judgement about the outlet.

South Korean fashion and retail platform Musinsa announced Friday that it will open stores in Vietnam as part of a broader global expansion strategy. The company has signed an agreement with Au Chau Fashion and Cosmetics Co. an affiliate of the Vietnamese retailer Imex Pan Pacific Group (IPPG), to launch Musinsa Standard stores in Ho Chi Minh City and other major cities next year.

Musinsa aims to leverage the growth of Vietnam's middle class and increasing digital consumption to attract new customers with quality products at reasonable prices. According to reports, transaction value from Vietnam on Musinsa's global store grew by an average of about 40 percent annually from 2023 to 2025, signaling strong demand for K-fashion.

This move follows Musinsa's efforts to establish a presence across Southeast Asia, including planned entries into the Philippines later this year and Indonesia next year. The company also operates three Musinsa Standard stores in China and plans to open its first store in Japan next year.

Musinsa currently operates 41 Musinsa Standard stores and six Musinsa Store locations in South Korea. Its online platform features more than 10,000 South Korean fashion brands, with approximately 4,000 of those brands available through Musinsa Global, which targets 13 strategic markets outside of China.
