NASA successfully launched the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope on Sunday from the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The observatory was carried into space by a SpaceX Falcon Heavy rocket. The telescope is designed to study dark energy and exoplanets, serving as a successor to the Hubble Space Telescope and complementing the James Webb Space Telescope and the European Space Agency's Euclid mission.
