  • A hatched block means the outlet is affiliated with, or controlled by, a state.

Political lean describes where an outlet sits within the politics of its own country. It is never a position on a single global scale.

Political lean is comparable inside one country and not across them, which is why the bar groups by country first. Publicly funded broadcasters are not marked as state-linked.

The owner of each outlet is listed as a matter of record, not as a judgement about the outlet.

A new eruptive mouth has opened on Mount Etna in the Valle del Bove. According to the National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology (INGV) Etna Observatory, the opening occurred around 11:30 on Saturday, August 8. The vent is located at an altitude of approximately 2,550 meters near Monte Rittmann. Regarding seismic activity, volcanic tremors have shown a slight and progressive decrease over the last 24 hours, though they remain at high levels. These tremor sources are concentrated in the area of the Voragine crater at about 3,000 meters above sea level.
