- A hatched block means the outlet is affiliated with, or controlled by, a state.
Political lean describes where an outlet sits within the politics of its own country. It is never a position on a single global scale.
Political lean is comparable inside one country and not across them, which is why the bar groups by country first. Publicly funded broadcasters are not marked as state-linked.
The owner of each outlet is listed as a matter of record, not as a judgement about the outlet.

An archive of more than 100 hours of unheard Oasis recordings is set to be auctioned on 3 October, despite objections from the band. The collection, which is being sold by Owain Richards, the son of the band's former sound engineer Huw Richards, includes 209 DAT tapes, 73 analogue cassettes, and three MiniDiscs. The items are being sold through Littleton Auctions in Evesham, Worcestershire, with a guide price between £1.2m and £1.6m.
The archive contains rehearsals, soundchecks, candid conversations between Noel and Liam Gallagher, and what is believed to be the only recording of the band's 1996 Loch Lomond concert. Ben Homer, the managing director of the auction house, stated that the Oasis camp is aware of the sale and has expressed concerns. He added that the auction house is following the appropriate legal process and that the recordings have verified provenance.
Owain Richards told the Times that previous discussions with Oasis management regarding the tapes had fizzled away, noting that the band wanted the recordings returned rather than sold. While the archive is described as a piece of history, the intellectual property rights remain with Oasis. This means the buyer cannot commercially exploit the recordings without the band's cooperation.
The auction occurs amid renewed interest in the band following their reunion last year. Other memorabilia, including Adidas trainers given to Noel Gallagher, will also be part of the sale.
