Political lean describes where an outlet sits within the politics of its own country. It is never a position on a single global scale.

Political lean is comparable inside one country and not across them, which is why the bar groups by country first. Publicly funded broadcasters are not marked as state-linked.

The owner of each outlet is listed as a matter of record, not as a judgement about the outlet.

Every outlet covering this story shares the same political lean; read with that in mind.

OpenAI launched a specialized version of ChatGPT on Thursday designed for the financial services sector. The product, called ChatGPT for Financial Services, was developed in partnership with Morgan Stanley and Evercore, who served as design partners. The service utilizes the GPT-6 Astra model, which OpenAI states was created to improve financial reasoning, content accuracy, and information retrieval within financial data tools.

The tool integrates data from providers such as LSEG, PitchBook, and Daloopa, and includes information from Crunchbase and Quartr. It allows users to conduct research across multiple sources, build financial models, and generate client materials. OpenAI noted that the product is currently focused on investment banking and equity analysts, but the company plans to expand the offering to the broader financial services industry. Companies with existing data subscriptions can connect them via integrations with S&P Global, FactSet, Preqin, and Datasite.
