The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has initiated an internal disciplinary inquiry into the national team following reports concerning discipline and conduct during their tour of England. The announcement comes as Pakistan trails 2-0 in a three match Test series, having suffered heavy defeats at Headingley and Lord's. In a statement released Monday, PCB media director Amir Mir said the process is being conducted under board regulations and that all concerned individuals will be given due consideration. The inquiry follows a period of significant instability. The PCB recently sent seven players home, including Mohammad Rizwan, Imam-ul-Haq, and Salman Ali Agha, while calling up seven replacements. Additionally, head coach Sarfaraz Ahmed and assistant Umar Gul were replaced by Mike Hesson and Ashley Noffke for the final Test at Edgbaston.
