- A hatched block means the outlet is affiliated with, or controlled by, a state.
Political lean describes where an outlet sits within the politics of its own country. It is never a position on a single global scale.
Political lean is comparable inside one country and not across them, which is why the bar groups by country first. Publicly funded broadcasters are not marked as state-linked.
The owner of each outlet is listed as a matter of record, not as a judgement about the outlet.

Palmeiras defeated LDU 1 to 0 in the first leg of the Copa Libertadores quarterfinals on Wednesday at the Nubank Parque. The winning goal was scored in the 25th minute of the first half by Argentine right back Agustín Giay, who scored on a rebound following a shot by Vitor Roque. This marked Giay's first goal for the club in his 98th official match. Palmeiras dominated the game and had nearly 30 shots, but failed to increase their lead.
The result allows the team led by Abel Ferreira to advance to the semifinals with a draw in the second leg. The return match will take place on Wednesday, October 16, in Quito, Ecuador, at an altitude of approximately 2,800 meters. However, Palmeiras will be without captain Gustavo Gómez, who is suspended after receiving his third yellow card during the first leg. Midfielder Andreas Pereira, who missed the first game due to suspension, is expected to return for the second leg.
If LDU wins by a single goal, the match will be decided by penalties. A victory for the Ecuadorian side by two or more goals would eliminate Palmeiras. The winner of this series will face the victor of the match between Fluminense and Platense.
