Israeli police detained 16 people in the northern town of Yavne'el during a crackdown on underage marriages. The operation targeted the Breslov Hasidic community, which consists of approximately 500 families. This event marks the second raid in the area since June, during which 20 people were previously detained. Those detained in the most recent raid are suspected of having recently married illegally or planning to hold such a wedding.
