A poll conducted by Toluna Harris Interactive for broadcasters M6 and RTL indicates that far-left France Unbowed leader Jean-Luc Mélenchon is scoring well enough to qualify for the runoff of the 2027 French presidential election. In this scenario, he would face far-right frontrunner Marine Le Pen, who holds a commanding lead of at least 16 points over her nearest competitor in every tested scenario. The French presidential system allows the top two candidates to advance to a second round if no candidate secures more than 50 percent of the vote.
