- A hatched block means the outlet is affiliated with, or controlled by, a state.
Political lean describes where an outlet sits within the politics of its own country. It is never a position on a single global scale.
Political lean is comparable inside one country and not across them, which is why the bar groups by country first. Publicly funded broadcasters are not marked as state-linked.
The owner of each outlet is listed as a matter of record, not as a judgement about the outlet.

President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva signed decrees on Tuesday creating four Sustainable Development Reserves in the state of Amazonas. The new units, located in the region of influence of the BR-319 highway, cover approximately 669,000 hectares and aim to protect biodiversity and the traditional agro-extractive lifestyles of local populations. The reserves include RDS Tupana Igapó-Açu I, RDS Tupana Igapó-Açu II, RDS Canaã, and RDS Mirari. Additionally, the President expanded the Sete Cidades National Park in Piauí to 13,502 hectares to protect endangered species and promote tourism.
During the ceremony, the BNDES announced funding for ecological restoration and territorial management. This includes 180 million reais from the Climate Fund for the Triunfo do Xingu Environmental Protection Area in Pará and 50.5 million reais from the Amazon Fund for the Naturezas Quilombolas project. A center-left source further detailed an additional 5.3 million reais from the Floresta Viva initiative for projects in the Xingu River Basin in Mato Grosso.
Economic measures were also introduced, including the signing of concession contracts for Forest Management Units II and III of the Humaitá National Forest in Amazonas. These contracts cover 162,700 hectares and anticipate 240 million reais in investments. Furthermore, a center-left source reported the activation of six Sociobioeconomy Development Nuclei under the Prospera Sociobio program, funded by the German government with a total investment of 70.2 million reais.
While the center-left source focused on the technical details and economic impacts of the measures, the center source highlighted the political framing of the event. According to that report, President Lula used the ceremony to criticize the previous administration of Jair Bolsonaro, describing its environmental policy as an attempt to pass the cattle and claiming that the previous government was led by people who disliked environmental issues.
