President Trump Meets with Anti-Zionist Haredi Jewish Leaders

A significant outcome of the gathering was a meeting between the two Satmar Rebbes, brothers Reb Aharon Teitelbaum and Reb Zalman Leib Teitelbaum. The two had been estranged for several decades following a succession dispute after the death of their father in 2006. During the event, Reb Aharon reportedly congratulated his brother on a grandson's engagement.

The participants discussed issues affecting the ultra-Orthodox community, including Israeli military conscription. While the leaders represent a fast-growing segment of American Jewry, they hold views that oppose the existence of the State of Israel. An administration official stated that the meeting was intended to bring believing Americans together, noting that Trump has won nearly 100 percent of the vote in these enclaves.
