Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has reprimanded the country's two primary intelligence services following an armed confrontation between their members in Kyiv. The shootout occurred on September 2 in the Berezniaky district between agents of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) and members of the military intelligence agency (HUR). At least three HUR service members were injured in the clash. In response to the incident, President Zelensky announced the dismissal of two deputy chiefs from the services, describing the event as absolutely unacceptable and stating that only Russian occupiers should be shot in Ukraine.
