- A hatched block means the outlet is affiliated with, or controlled by, a state.
Political lean describes where an outlet sits within the politics of its own country. It is never a position on a single global scale.
Political lean is comparable inside one country and not across them, which is why the bar groups by country first. Publicly funded broadcasters are not marked as state-linked.
The owner of each outlet is listed as a matter of record, not as a judgement about the outlet.

The Punjab Police have secured the extradition of Amritpal Singh, also known as Amrit Dalam, from the Republic of Moldova. This event marks the first time the Punjab Police have secured an extradition from a European country. Mr. Dalam is a key operative of the Jaggu Bhagwanpuria gang and is wanted in connection with multiple crimes, including murder, attempt to murder, narcotics, and offenses under the Arms Act and the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA).
According to Punjab Director General of Police Gaurav Yadav, the extradition was the result of Operation Eastern Reach, a six month intelligence led international manhunt. The operation involved sustained surveillance and coordination between the Anti Gangster Task Force (AGTF), the Overseas Fugitive Tracking and Extradition Cell (OFTEC), and various central agencies including the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Ministry of External Affairs, and the Central Bureau of Investigation. International cooperation from Moldovan and Azerbaijan authorities also contributed to the success.
Records from the Punjab Police indicate that Mr. Dalam is wanted in 21 cases across the state, including five murder cases and nine cases under the Arms Act. He is allegedly involved in weapons smuggling, extortion, and targeted killings. One specific case linked to the Interpol notice involves a double murder in Hoshiarpur.
