Political lean is comparable inside one country and not across them, which is why the bar groups by country first. Publicly funded broadcasters are not marked as state-linked.

A retired Indian Air Force officer was assaulted with an iron rod by parking staff at the Magnum Global Park commercial complex in Gurugram on September 10. The victim, identified as Amit Gupta, sustained fractures to his hand and other injuries. Gurugram Police registered a First Information Report on Monday, September 14, at the Sector 65 Police Station.

According to the complaint, the incident began when parking attendants refused to let Gupta park his car. Gupta alleged that he attempted to use four authorized parking lots before an attendant tried to smash his car window. An argument ensued, during which the attendant allegedly struck Gupta in the head and left arm with an iron rod before fleeing. One source notes that Gupta was a veteran of Operation Safed Sagar during the Kargil war and held the rank of group captain.

Police officials stated that CCTV footage is being examined to identify and arrest the suspect. While the victim initially indicated he would provide a detailed statement after recovering, the formal complaint was submitted on September 13. The center-left source frames the event as a straightforward assault by staff, while the center-right source emphasizes the victim's military veteran status and provides more granular detail regarding the parking dispute and the alleged lack of immediate police assistance.
