River Wonders to host Panda Planet exhibition and celebrate Kai Kai and Jia Jia's birthdays

River Wonders will host the Panda Planet Immersive Experience from September 4 to 14, marking the first time this exhibition has been available outside of China. The event, presented by iPanda, features three distinct zones: the Giant Panda Science Zone, which covers evolution and behavior; the MR Experience Zone, which uses virtual reality to show the pandas' natural ecosystem; and the Birthday Zone, which provides facts about the park's resident pandas, Kai Kai and Jia Jia, as well as an update on their offspring, Le Le. In addition to the exhibition, the park will celebrate the birthdays of Jia Jia on September 5 and Kai Kai on September 13. The celebrations will include specially made gift boxes and ice cakes designed to encourage natural foraging behavior. Admission to the exhibition is included with River Wonders tickets, which are available online or at the park. Each ticket includes a 5 dollar retail voucher and a 5 dollar food and beverage voucher redeemable with a minimum spend of 20 dollars. While the center leaning source focuses on the event as a fun activity for the September school holidays, the center right leaning source frames the celebrations as potentially the last of their kind before the pandas return to China in 2027.
