São Paulo defeated Red Bull Bragantino 2 to 1 on Saturday at the Morumbis stadium, ending a winless drought in the Campeonato Brasileiro that lasted ten games and 126 days. The team had not won a match in the national competition since April 25, when they defeated Mirassol under former coach Roger Machado.
